Reject Overly Strict Voter ID Requirements
Congress is advancing legislation that would require voters to present a limited set of government-issued IDs to vote in federal elections, creating new barriers for many eligible voters. Election officials already verify voters' identities, and voter impersonation is already illegal. Millions of Americans could face unnecessary obstacles under these requirements. Tell Congress to oppose the Voter ID Act and protect every eligible voter's freedom to vote.
