Please send a letter to the Senate Committee on Government Affairs and ask them to support Senate Bill 142, and repeal the anti-union, 16.6% ending fund balance provision contained in Senate Bill 543 from the 2019 Legislative Session

NSEA Supports SB83 Pausing/Waiving Assessments
This afternoon, NSEA spoke in support of Senate Bill 83 at the Senate Committee on Education. SB83 (a priority of NSEA) authorizes the Department of Education to temporarily waive or pause mandated student assessments. The Bill unanimously passed out of Committee.
